We were arguing for a long time where we would rest. I am very afraid of skiing. But my husband persuaded me to try. He said that I would feel great feelings. And he promised that our trip to California would be unforgettable. So it was decided that we go at the ski resorts in California on Christmas. There are many ski resorts in California. Each of them is very good. But I wanted to see other beautiful places in California. So, we decided to explore California at first and then go to any ski resort. Our first stop was Las Vegas. We stayed in a hotel in downtown. We liked the town, but didn’t have any rest here. And we wanted to escape the city. So, we went into a quiet California town. It was Big Bear City. Big Bear Resort is ski and spa resort. The town consists of small and cozy wooden lodges. Each house has a fireplace. The city is a lot of cafes and restaurants. The city is situated around a picturesque lake Big Bear. It is very developed ski tourism and water recreation. Ski slopes are open from November to March. Skiers, fishermen, hunters, walkers and leisurely dinners will find everything that they need to have a good time. Grizzly carvings are common souvenir from Big Bear. You can watch squirrels in parts of the resort, away from the road. They are found in abundance in gardens near houses. We visited the ski resort of Heavenly next. Then we went to Death Valley. Death Valley is the largest park in the U.S. We stopped at a place called Furnes Creek. This is the loveliest and crowded part of Death Valley, where there are campgrounds, restaurants, snack bars, and swimming pools. Here we rented a horse and made an unusual, horse walk through the valley. In Death Valley there are many different attractions and entertainment, such as “Ghost town old”, long-abandoned town of prospectors and miners. And we visited the house, named for the famed prospector Scotty's Castle. This trip was unforgettable!
